Primary Care Services

South Sunflower County Hospital offers an array of primary care services at two convenient locations.

At South Sunflower County Hospital, we believe in preventative care for the whole family. From pre-natal to adult care, our Board Certified physicians and certified family nurse practitioners provide the medical expertise needed to properly treat and manage your family’s health.

Our providers collaborate with other health care professionals and effectively coordinate the patient’s health care services. Together, with the patient, they promote effective communication and encourage the patient to play an active role as a partner in health care.

Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Care for common medical illnesses

  • Care for acute illnesses and minor injuries

  • Preventive medical care and health maintenance for adolescents and adults

  • Specialized care for the elderly

  • Common medical procedures, including minor skin surgery, suturing and arthritic joint injections
